Teams register for official VEX Robotics events through events.vex.com. Before registering, make sure your team is registered for the current season, and review the event page for key information such as registration requirements, payment deadlines, and event expectations. Register early when you can, since events can fill, and keep an eye on the event page and your email for updates.
Before registering for an event, make sure:
- Your team is registered and paid for the current season.
- You are logged in to events.vex.com.
- You are listed as a primary or secondary contact for the team.
- Your team is registered in the correct program and grade level.
Log In
On events.vex.com select Login in the top-right of the page.
Enter your log in credentials and select Login.

Use the filters to search by:
- Location
- Season
- Event Type
- Event Format
- Event Name
- Grade Level

Select an Event
Select the event's name to open its event page.
Review Event Information
Before registering, review the event details on the event page:

Select Register
If registration is open and your team is eligible, select Register. If the event is full, you may see an option to join the waitlist.
Select Your Team
Choose the team you want to register. If you manage multiple teams, verify that you are selecting the correct team number.
Submit Registration
Select Register to complete the registration. Depending on the event settings and capacity, your team will appear as Registered or Waitlisted.
Note: Placement on a waitlist does not guarantee participation.

Complete Payment
Follow the payment instructions provided by the Event Partner. Teams that do not pay by the published deadline may be moved to the waitlist or removed according to the Event Partner's published policies.
