At this time, payments made through events.vex.com are processed by VEX Robotics, and the methods available to you may vary depending on your location and organization.

Available Payment Methods
Several payment methods are available for eligible purchases made through events.vex.com. The options shown during checkout depend on your account and purchase.

Credit Card
Credit card payments are processed immediately. Once payment has been successfully completed, your purchase is typically updated automatically in events.vex.com. For team registrations, teams become eligible to register for official events once payment has been processed.
Purchase Order (PO) – Net 30
Schools and organizations that purchase through a Purchase Order may select PO – Net 30 during checkout. A Purchase Order reserves the team registration while payment is processed through the organization's purchasing department. Once your Purchase Order has been reviewed and processed, your registration is marked as PO Received, allowing your team to register for official events.

Note: Always include your order or invoice number on your Purchase Order to ensure timely processing. Use the Greenville address for PO submission and the Dallas address for payments.
Pay Later
The Pay Later option allows you to complete checkout while delaying payment until a later date. Your order is created and appears under My Orders in your account with the status Unpaid (pending), and your team registration is reserved but not marked as paid. There is no deadline to complete payment; however, teams cannot register for official events until payment has been received and processed.
To complete payment, open the order from your account dashboard and select Finish Checkout / Change Payment Method. For event registrations, you may instead choose to pay the Event Partner directly.
Unpaid orders appear in your account with a Finish Checkout / Change Payment Method button you can use to complete payment at any time.
Note: On your order page, both Pay Later and Hold Registration are shown together as the payment method Pay Later / Hold Registration.
Hold Registration
The Hold Registration option reserves your team number without completing checkout. It is commonly used when an organization is waiting on Purchase Order approval, school funding, grant funding, or internal purchasing approval. There is no deadline on a held registration. Hold Registration reserves your team number only; it does not create a paid registration and does not allow your team to register for official events. Teams become eligible to register for official events only after payment has been received or an approved payment method has been processed.
Which option should I choose?
- Pay Later – You are ready to complete checkout now and pay afterward. An order is created for your registration.
- Hold Registration – You are not ready to check out yet and only want to reserve your team number while payment arrangements are completed.
Refunds
Refund policies differ depending on what you purchase through events.vex.com.
- Team registrations – Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. When registering a team, you will be asked to acknowledge this before completing your purchase.
- Event registrations – Refunds are determined by each Event Partner. Refund information for a specific event can be found on that event's page on events.vex.com.
