VEX Tournament Manager is the software used to run VEX V5 Robotics Competition, VEX IQ Robotics Competition, and VEX U Robotics Competition events. Approved Event Partners download it from their Admin dashboard on events.vex.com. This article explains how to find and download the software. It is written for Event Partners.

Note: The Tournament Manager download is only available to approved Event Partners. If you do not see the Admin tab after logging in, contact your Program Support Manager to confirm your Event Partner permissions. For details on becoming an Event Partner, see Becoming an Event Partner.
Log In
On events.vex.com select Login in the top-right of the page.
Enter your login credentials and select Login.
Download the Installer
Select the Admin tab in the upper-right corner to open your Admin dashboard.
In the Admin dashboard, select the Tournament Manager Download button to open the download page.
Select the download for your operating system:
- Windows
- Mac
- Linux
Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Accessing the User Guide
VEX Tournament Manager includes a built-in User Guide that covers how to set up and run an event, configure displays, score matches, manage awards, and more.
Open Tournament Manager and start creating a new tournament. On the first page, select the User Guide link to open the full documentation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see the Admin tab?
The Admin tab only appears for approved Event Partners. If it is missing, contact your Program Support Manager to confirm your Event Partner permissions have been assigned.
Which operating systems are supported?
Tournament Manager is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Download the version that matches the computer you will use to run your event.
Do I need to install anything else?
On Windows, the installer also sets up the drivers needed for VEX field control hardware. Disconnect any field controllers from the computer before installing, and follow the on-screen instructions.
