The Sportsmanship Award and the Energy Award are optional Nominated Awards presented at VEX Robotics Competition events. The Sportsmanship Award recognizes a team that consistently demonstrates respect, professionalism, fairness, and positive conduct. The Energy Award recognizes a team that brings enthusiasm, excitement, positivity, and spirit to the competition. This article provides the nomination form for each award. Because both awards are optional, they may not be offered at every event; the Awards tab on an event's page lists the awards offered at that event.
It is written for anyone at an event who wants to nominate a team for either award, and for Event Partners preparing nomination forms for their event.

Both forms follow the same format. Each asks for the event name and date, the team being nominated, and the person or team making the nomination. Each form also includes a list of criteria to mark and space to briefly describe a specific example of what the team did, and where and when it happened.
