Legal Parts Appendix for VEX V5 Robotics Competition

This guide explains all parts for VEX V5 that are legal for Robotics Competitions and where to find the official VEX V5 Robotics Competition Legal Parts List. It is written for teams, coaches, Event Partners, Judge Advisors, Head Referees, and Inspectors.

Overview

<R16> Robots are built from the VEX V5 system. Robots may be built ONLY using official VEX V5 components, unless otherwise specifically noted within these rules.

All legal V5 components are listed in the VEX V5 Robotics Competition Legal Parts List.

Note: This rule is applied differently for VEX U. See Rule <VUR2>.

The VEX V5 Robotics Competition Legal Parts List is a living document that can be found by navigating to https://link.vex.com/v5rc-legal-parts. This document should always be considered “Up to Date.”
