Tournament Manager can run its audience, pit, and field displays on Raspberry Pi single-board computers, a low-cost alternative to dedicated display computers. When used as a field display, the Raspberry Pi can also connect to VEXnet or V5 field control hardware over USB. This article provides the Tournament Manager for Raspberry Pi installation instructions for download. It is written for Event Partners and volunteers setting up displays for a VEX Robotics Competition event.

The instructions walk through the two parts of the installation: writing the Tournament Manager operating system to an SD card using the Raspberry Pi Imager, and installing and configuring the Tournament Manager application on the device from Tournament Manager running on Windows or Mac. A new Tournament Manager operating system version is typically released once per season.
