This article covers where your Season, Code, and Credit Summaries go at each stage of your engineering notebook's life — at the event, after the event, and across a season.

At the Event
Print your Season Summary, Code Summary, and Credit Summary as loose pages, one page each, and place them at the front of your engineering notebook — not bound in, not paper-clipped to the back, and not inside a pocket folder buried in the middle.
This lets a Judge Advisor open your notebook and immediately find your summaries to sort and route notebooks efficiently, without flipping through a hundred pages to locate them. Loose pages at the front stay easy to find, easy to pull for reference during judging, and easy to set aside for interviews.
After the Event
Once the event is over, your loose summary pages have done their job for that tournament. Rather than discarding them, transcribe or paste them into your notebook as a dated entry — an event recap page marking what your team knew, built, and could do at that point in the season.
Do this after every event you attend. Over a season, these recap pages form a running record of your team's progress — how your robot's capabilities changed, how your code evolved, and how your credited sources grew. A judge reading your notebook later in the season can see that arc directly, rather than only your current snapshot.
During the Season
Keep an appendix in your notebook that collects the summaries you submitted at past competitions this season, in the order you competed. This is a companion to the event recap pages above — the recap pages tell the story of your season inside the main notebook narrative, while the appendix keeps the primary-source documents together in one place for quick side-by-side reference.
By your last event of the season, this appendix should contain every Season, Code, and Credit Summary your team has submitted so far.
